Pedophilia is incomprehensible and horrifying to the rest of us. But murder is murder, even if it's carried out by the state, so I can't support the death penalty. I could support locking them up forever, because as I've said many times, I don't think they can be "cured" and would always be a threat. It's not a perfect solution but it's better than murder, and better than letting them "serve their time" and be released to a world where our children and grandchildren are potential targets. I see by that list that other states have some tougher laws (and some less restrictive) in that they also include daycares, parks or arcades or places where children tend to gather. I'm anti death penalty but I also believe you can't cure or change someone's sexual preferences.
