BOTTOM LINE: Northeastern and Duquesne are about to collide in the Paradise Jam of the US Virgin Islands. The Northeast sneaked past Boston University by a point on Tuesday, while Duquesne came off a 63-59 loss to Weber State on Monday.
GREAT MEN ON CAMPUS: Chris Doherty is averaging 14.7 points and 8.3 rebounds to lead the Huskies charge. Jahmyl Telfort is also a main contributor, now averaging 12.3 points per game. The Dukes were led by Kevin Easley Jr., who is averaging 13.3 points and 5.7 rebounds. EXCELLENT EASLEY JR. : Easley has made 35.7% of 14 3-pointers he attempted and made 5 of 14 in his last three games. . He’s also managed 75% of his free throws this season.
