The Idaho Opera announced its 2022-23 season with three main operas.
The season opens with Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at the Egyptian Theater.
Performance dates: October 21 and 23, 2022
Verdi’s “Macbeth” will be performed at the Morrison Center.
Performance dates: January 27 and 29, 2023
by Dvorak “Rusalka” will be performed at the Egyptian Theatre.

Complementary productions
“Celebrando a Mexico”, a celebration of Mexican Independence Day will be held at the Idaho Botanical Garden.
Performance date: September 18, 2022
“All is Quiet: The Christmas Truce of 1914” will be played. Peter Rothstein’s play will be staged at the Boise Contemporary Theatre.
Performance dates: 3 – 18 December 20222
Finally “American Opera” will be presented at the Egyptian Theater.
Performance dates: March 3 & 5, 2023

“Opera in the Park” will be performed at the Gene Harris Bandshell in Julia Davis Park

“Operatini” will be staged in the Sapphire room of the Riverside Hotel.
